7 1/4″ 4W Battery Loco Project

A heavy duty piece of kit this, a 7.25″ gauge 4W Battery loco project.

It was intented to become a tram style loco although at this stage it could be turned into whatever the next builder would like.

The frames are 1/2″ thick steel plates, with 8mm buffer beams welded to each end. 4 wheels, 2 axles, NG profile, machined from solid with sprockets fitted for the drive. Coil springs and take up bearings fitted. The project comes with a brand new, unused, Bosch 1hp Motor.
