Placing an Order
When you place an order with Little Western, you are entering into a contract to buy products or services that we offer. Upon receiving an order we will send a confirmation email to you and advise to contact us directly if there are any modifications you need to make to the order. Lead times will be stated on this email as some of our rolling stock is built to order.
Value Added Tax
We do not currently charge for VAT on our products.
Orders for rolling stock to be manufactured require a minimum 50% deposit. The outstanding balance must then be settled 7 days before collection or delivery at the latest. Online Shop items must be paid in full before the arrangement of collection or delivery. Second hand items are to be also paid in full before the arrangement of collection or delivery. Little Western may consider accepting items in part change for an agreed value between both parties.
Items sold as ex-stock or second hand are sold as seen. It is the duty of the customer to fully inspect any second hand goods before purchasing. Little Western cannot offer warranties or refunds on second hand goods.
Any date given for the completion of products built to order shall be estimates only. Little Western will endeavour to have the ordered products ready for collection or delivery by such dates. Failure to meet such dates will not affect the contract between the customer and Little Western. Time shall not be of the essence is relation to delivery.
Cancelling an Order
Consumers have the right to cancel an order within 7 days of placing an order. After this 7 day period, any deposits made will be considered non-refundable. Little Western reserve the right to return any monies deposited subject to the sale-ability of the work in hand and the cost of modification for resale. Bespoke item orders and overhaul service orders cannot be cancelled and any outstanding balances must be settled.
Rolling-stock manufactured by Little Western and purchased as new are covered by a 12 month warranty. Please note this warranty does not apply to kits or second hand items.Replacement sundry items within this 12 month period will be dispatched free of charge. Any item that requires returning to Little Western for remedial work under warranty must be done at the customer’s expense.
Little Western must be informed of any damaged goods with 7 days of delivery or collection. If damage is to be found on any new Little Western product within this time frame, please get in touch with us to discuss an appropriate course of action.
