7 1/4″ Swiss Alps Locomotive
A rare and interesting scale model of a Swiss “Wengernalpbahn” P-Way locomotive in 7.25” gauge. It is powerful little engine that is fitted with a Bosch 1hp Motor and popular Parkside Controller with custom handset. It is very nicely detailed, and well finished in the modern yellow and green livery of that famous rack-and-pinion railway. There is nice details too, with pantograph, windscreen wipers, snow ploughs and headlights fitted. Note that the ploughs are fitted to both axles, not just the front. It was commercially built and it shows as the construction and finish are to a fine standard.
