In 2018/9 renowned model makers Polly Model Engineering wanted to expand their range of popular kit engines. The result was the Molly Ann, effectively a Saddle tank variant of the Polly 3 0-6-0 with minor alterations.
This is the factory built example from which the design takes its name; and has been well exhibited in and out of steam over the years. Finished in a striking metallic teal paint the engine has the look of an industrial or colliery 0-6-0 saddle tank type.
